![]() When I started looking closely at iOS, the current operating system was iOS 14. Depending on how the picture was uploaded, I can even distinguish iOS 14 from iOS 15 - even if there isn't any metadata. I now have an automated system that can tell if a picture came from an iOS device, whether it was originally a HEIC or JPEG file, if it was uploaded using 'Browse' or 'Photo Library', etc. Over the last year, I've been heavily focused on profiling pictures that come from iOS devices. With such a large presence, it makes sense that Apple's devices account for a large number of pictures received by FotoForensics. Outside of the United States, Apple effectively ties with Samsung for the lead at 15%-20% of the market, each. It grew to 65% in Q4 of 2020, then dropped to 53% by Q2 of 2021, and Q3 of 2021 fell to 47%.)
